(14-07-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Federal Defence Minister Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur held a meeting with the Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General, Raisedon Zenenga, on Sunday at the Ministry Headquarters in Mogadishu.
According to Minister Nur, the meeting discussed enhancing UN support and collaboration with the Ministry of Defence, current and future UNSOS support, the ATMIS drawdown, and the post-ATMIS mission.
The Minister added that they agreed to further strengthen Somalia’s security and stability during this period of security transition in the country.
