A delegation led by HirShabelle State President, Ali Abdullahi Hussein ‘Gudlawe’, has arrived in Bal’ad town, Middle Shabelle region to bolster the war against Al-Shabaab. President Gudlawe met with senior Somali National Army (SNA) commanders and officers in charge of the military operations in the HIrShabelle State.
The president’s visit was to bolster the ongoing war against Al-Shabaab in Middle Shabelle region and ensure the security of the main supply route joining Bal’ad and Jowhar, which has recently been affected by IEDs resulting in civilian casualties.
President Gudlawe thanked the SNA and the local forces for their sacrifices in the fight against Al-Shabaab in the region.
