(29 Sep 2024) BOSASO (Halqabsi News) – Two planes carrying weapons and military supplies landed at Bossaso Airport, Bari region, early Sunday morning, according to security sources. The delivery reportedly took place under tight security, with most airport staff cleared from the area and the few remaining having their phones confiscated during the operation.
Military officials confirmed that the shipment was purchased by Puntland from the Ethiopian government. However, specific details about the nature of the arms remain unclear, and the Puntland government has yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
