(29 Sep 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Somalia’s Internal Security Minister, Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail Fartaag, has closed a Quran recitation competition held for members of the Somali Police Force. At the ceremony, officers who secured the top three positions were awarded prizes.
Minister Fartaag highlighted that officers who have memorised the Quran will receive special recognition and be assessed on their religious knowledge. He reiterated that fostering religious education is a core focus for the Ministry of Internal Security, aimed at developing a well-disciplined and knowledgeable police force.
