(09 Sep 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – A month-long First Aid and First Aid Trainer Training Program, organised in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent Delegation in Somalia, has concluded with a certificate ceremony at the Turkish Embassy in Mogadishu.
The programme, supported by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Training and Research Hospital and the Somali Disaster Management Agency, equipped participants with vital first aid skills and the ability to train others.
Guests at the ceremony included Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh, Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of Somalia, and Mahamud Moallim, Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency.
The Turkish Embassy extended their congratulations to the graduates, expressing their hope that the newly acquired knowledge will be shared widely within the Somali community. This initiative underscores the ongoing commitment of Turkey to support capacity building and strengthen healthcare capabilities in Somalia.
