(07 Oct 2024) BELEDWEYNE (Halqabsi News) – Beledweyne Police have arrested four suspects in connection with the abduction and murder of 7-year-old Muad Abdullahi Farah. His body was found yesterday in the Shabelle River, which flows through Baledweyne.
Police discovered the boy’s body with ropes tied around his neck and hands, suggesting he was killed before being thrown into the river. Authorities have taken the four suspects into custody, and further investigations are underway.
The incident has shocked residents of Beledweyne, sparking condemnation. Residents called on security agencies to address crimes in the town.
