(30 Oct 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Wednesday visited the Afisyoone Hangar to review the National Transformation Plan (NTP) Labs. During his visit, the Prime Minister received updates from experts working on the draft of the NTP for 2025–2029. Touring various departments involved in the project, he commended the team for their commitment and acknowledged the vital role their work plays in advancing Somalia’s development goals.
Organisers from the Ministry of Planning noted that the Prime Minister’s support and guidance would enhance the Labs’ productivity, ensuring alignment with the nation’s strategic objectives. The visit underscored the government’s focus on a well-coordinated and robust planning process.
Prime Minister Barre was accompanied by the Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development, Mohamud Beenebeene.
