(10 Nov 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News)— The Somali Disaster Management Agency has sent three planes loaded with food aid to Hudur, Dolow, and Bardera in the Gedo and Bakol regions. The operation, aimed at assisting displaced and vulnerable communities, seeks to mitigate the expected impacts of the La Niña drought. Ms Sahro Ali Yusuf, the Director of Relief, oversaw the dispatch from Mogadishu airport, ensuring essential supplies reach those in need.
