(11 Nov 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — The SSC-Khaatumo administration has appointed a new committee to foster cooperation with Puntland State. The nine-member committee, announced on November 10 by SSC-Khaatumo’s leader, includes traditional leaders, MPs, and professionals from various fields.
The committee is tasked with strengthening ties between SSC-Khaatumo and Puntland, working towards improved collaboration and unity between the two administrations. Members are expected to formulate a detailed cooperation plan that will support joint initiatives and a strong, lasting partnership.
The move follows consultations with administrative councils, traditional leaders, and community representatives, aiming to build a robust foundation for inter-administrative cooperation. The committee will also work to establish a framework for sustained collaboration, enhancing relations between the two regional governments.
