President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Sunday appointed Ms Hani Abdi Gaas as his Advisor on Youth and Sports Affairs. According to a Villa Somalia appointment statement, Ms Gaas brings extensive expertise in youth development, having worked with both international and local organisations. She has also represented Somali youth on various global and regional platforms, showcasing her dedication to advancing their interests.
President Mohamud emphasised the importance of her role, urging Ms. Gaas to leverage her experience in community development to empower Somali youth, who are pivotal in shaping the country’s defence and progress.
