President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, is attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he will showcase Somalia’s progress and economic potential on the global stage.
In his address at the Forum, President Mohamud will outline Somalia’s strides in economic growth, its vision for sustainable development, and efforts to strengthen partnerships with key nations to bolster critical infrastructure.
While in Davos, the President will be honoured with the Africa Presidential Leadership Award, recognising his commitment to fostering peace, stability, and economic progress in the Horn of Africa nation.
President Mohamud is also set to hold sideline talks with world leaders and key stakeholders at the Forum, aiming to strengthen global cooperation and attract investment to accelerate Somalia’s development.
