The State Minister of Defence, Omar Ali Abdi, on Wednesday inaugurated the Steering Committee meeting of the SNA III Project, funded by the European Peace Facility (EPF). The project is designed to strengthen and professionalise the Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF).
The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including National Security Adviser Ambassador Aweys Haji, Chief of Defence Forces General Odowa Yusuf Rage, European Union Ambassador to Somalia Ambassador Francesca Di Mauro, and senior officials from the Ministry of Defence, the SNAF, and the European Union.
