South West State President, Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen, on Wednesday met with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Somalia, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Muwallad.
The talks focused on strengthening cooperation between South West State and Saudi Arabia, particularly in development, trade, and support for essential social services such as healthcare and education.
President Laftagareen thanked the Government of Saudi Arabia for its steadfast support of Somalia, stressing that the relationship between the two nations is historic and rooted in brotherhood and mutual respect.
Ambassador Al-Muwalad reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to further enhance its assistance to South West State, with the aim of accelerating peace and development initiatives.
