MOGADISHU, SOMALIA – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, met with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Somalia, Mr. Ahmed Jumah Alromaith, on Saturday to discuss the strengthening of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, which took place at the Prime Minister’s office in Mogadishu, the leaders discussed ways to further enhance the already strong bond between Somalia and the United Arab Emirates. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the UAE’s support in various sectors, including security, infrastructure development, education and healthcare.
Ambassador Alromaith, for his part, emphasized the UAE’s commitment to supporting the Federal Government of Somalia in its efforts to achieve stability, economic growth and development. He also praised the Prime Minister’s leadership and his efforts to improve the lives of the Somali people.
“We are very pleased to meet with the Prime Minister and discuss ways to strengthen our relationship and cooperation. The United Arab Emirates is committed to supporting the Federal Government of Somalia in its efforts to achieve stability, economic growth and development. We are honoured to be a partner of such a wonderful country and we look forward to continuing to work together,” said Ambassador Alromaith.
The Prime Minister also thanked the Ambassador for the UAE’s continued support and pledged to continue working together to improve the lives of the Somali people. He said that the meeting was a step forward in the direction of strengthening the already existing brotherly relations between the two countries.
“We are very grateful for the UAE’s support and cooperation. The relationship between our two countries is strong and we are committed to working together to improve the lives of the Somali people. I would like to thank the Ambassador for his visit and for his continued support,” said Prime Minister Barre.
The meeting was seen as a positive step forward in the relationship between the two countries, and both leaders expressed their hope for a continued close partnership in the future.
