Mr. Barre chaired the first meeting of the National Level Steering Committee for the Reprinting of the Somali Shilling Project in Mogadishu on Sunday.
During the meeting, the Governor of the Central Bank and the members of the Committee presented a detailed report on the progress made so far on the policy of the National Government to reform the country’s economy, particularly the return of the Somali shilling. The Prime Minister praised the committee members for their work and acknowledged the importance of the project in reforming the country’s economic institutions.
