(07-06-23) MOGADISHU — President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud today received Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who serves as President Yoweri Museveni’s Senior Advisor for Special Operations, at Villa Somalia.
The main topic on their agenda was a message conveyed by Gen. Kainerugaba on behalf of President Museveni. The Ugandan leader proposed closer collaboration between the two nations in the fight against terrorism.
During the discussion, President Mohamud took a strong stance against the recent Bulomarer terrorist attack that targeted Ugandan African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) forces. He expressed condolences to the families of the victims, extending his sympathies to the fallen heroes.
