(14-08-23) MOGADISHU – On Monday, Minister of Finance Mr Bihi Egeh chaired the opening of a vital two-day Intergovernmental Fiscal Federalism meeting in Mogadishu. Attended by Finance Ministers from Somalia’s Federal Member States and the Banadir Regional Administration (BRA)’s Deputy Mayor for Administration and Finance, the event emphasized collaborative reform as key to completing the debt relief process.
The meeting concluded on a positive note with unanimous agreement on strategic measures to enhance collaboration between the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS), ensuring economic reforms, fiscal stability, and sustainable development.
