(30-09-23) MOGADISHU – At a meeting in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, UN Special Representative Catriona Laing and Somalia’s Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Minister Mohamed Elmi, held a meeting to discuss the ongoing progress in the country’s labour and social affairs sector.
The dialogue was centred around the present state of affairs, with both parties highlighting the importance of social protection and inclusion. The collaboration between international organisations like the UN and local Somali institutions signifies the commitment to advancing social reforms and ensuring a more inclusive society for all Somalis.
