(11-12-23) DOHA (HN) — In Qatar’s capital, Doha, Mr Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madale), the Governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu, engaged in important discussions with Mr Mansour Ajraan Al-Boeinin, the Mayor of Doha. Their dialogue centred on renewing the Twinning Agreement between Mogadishu and Doha, fostering key infrastructure projects including Mogadishu’s sewer system, and procuring diverse vehicles to boost both cities’ aesthetic appeal and overall growth.
Mr Al-Boeinin, Doha’s Mayor, committed to actively supporting Mogadishu’s development and expediting the implementation of the twinning initiative between the two cities.
Governor Madale conveyed his heartfelt thanks to the Qatari government and its citizens for their unwavering assistance, instrumental in Somalia’s journey towards regaining its stability and autonomy.
