The President engaged in talks with these international financial bodies, expressing thanks for their pivotal contributions that led to the country’s significant achievement in the debt relief initiative. The meetings served as a platform to discuss ways in which these institutions could further support Somalia in reaching its economic aspirations.
Discussions primarily revolved around strategies to fortify financial institutions, increase national income, and attract international investments. President Mohamud emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration with the IMF and World Bank to propel Somalia towards economic prosperity.
