(12-12-23) MOGADISHU (HN) — Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has stressed the key role of his office in driving change and modernising the nation’s governance. Speaking to government staff who returned from overseeing capacity-building training, PM Barre urged them to take the lead in governance modernisation and advancement.
He underscored the importance of such training for government staff to deliver effective and life-enhancing services to the Somali people. Recently, a group of over 30 professionals from various government departments returned home after completing specialised training programmes in Malaysia, focusing on Somalia’s modern governance orientation.
