Puntland President Appoints Election Dispute Resolution Committee

(12-12-23) GAROWE (HN) — Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni issued a Presidential Decree on Tuesday pertaining to the establishment of the Electoral Committee for Approval and Resolution of Disputes of the Puntland State Government’s House of Representatives (Vetting Committee).

Acknowledging the need for the establishment of the Committee for Approval and Resolution of Disputes of the Puntland House of Representatives (Vetting Committee), the President decreed the appointment of the following members:

1. Issak Ahmed Hassan (Chairman)
2. Said Hirsi Bulhan (Member)
3. Abdi Abdullahi Hashi (Goley) (Member)
4. Abdirashid Saleeban Geelle (Member)
5. Farah Abdi Dhalac (Member)
6. Mohamud Mohamed Ahmed (Member)
7. Ahmed Abdi Ali (Member)
8. Yusuf Suudi Abdi (Secretary)

This decree becomes effective upon the signature of the President, who has duly signed it.
