(17-01-24) GAROWE (Halqabsi News) — Various delegations are en route to Garowe, the administrative capital of Puntland, to attend the inauguration ceremony of Puntland’s newly elected leadership.
The ceremony, whose date has not yet been disclosed, is a significant event, with invitations extended to most leaders from the federal and regional administrations who are anticipated to jet into Garowe for the occasion.
The event’s guest list includes an array of former prime ministers and senior federal government politicians, all of whom have been called upon to witness the inauguration of Puntland’s leadership.
Furthermore, reports suggest that invitations have reached former Somali presidents, with their attendance still awaiting confirmation. Puntland has recently seen the successful conclusion of its presidential elections, with incumbent President Said Abdullahi Deni winning re-election.
