(31-01-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — The Federal Ministry of Health has donated three emergency medical vehicles to Galmudug State of Somalia. Federal Health Minister Dr Ali Haji Aden handed over the vehicles, which included two ambulances, to Galmudug Health Minister Dr Yasin Abdi Jama.
The handover event was attended by key figures, including the Director-General of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr Guled Abdijaliil, and the Director-General of the Galmudug State Government’s Ministry of Health, Abdiwali Mohamed Ahmed, along with other officials.
Minister Aden emphasised that the well-equipped vehicles are poised to positively impact Galmudug State’s healthcare, reaffirming the Federal Ministry’s unwavering commitment to the continuous development of health services across Somalia.
Expressing gratitude, Galmudug Health Minister, Dr Jama, acknowledged the importance of the vehicles, assuring that they would be instrumental in serving the Galmudug community, enhancing public health, and helping achieve Somalia’s national health objectives.
The Federal Health Minister reaffirmed his docket’s dedication to addressing the country’s health challenges and the progressive improvement of healthcare services, aiming to fulfil the government’s health development aspirations.
