(30-01-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — The First Deputy Speaker of the Upper House, Mr Ali Sha’ban Ibrahim, and the First Deputy Speaker of the People’s House, Ms Sadia Yasin Haji Samatar, met today with the Constitutional Review Committee’s leadership at the Upper House’s Headquarters in Mogadishu.
During the meeting, the leadership of both chambers of the 11th Parliament engaged with the Constitutional Review Committee members to strategise the start of debates on the Constitution’s first four chapters. The discussions included planning for the debate sessions and arranging the timetable for these key chapters.
The meeting was attended by the Upper House’s Second Deputy Speaker, Mr Abdullahi Ali Hirsi Tima’Adde, and the Secretary-General.
