(11-01-24) KISMAYO (Halqabsi News) — The Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Jubbaland Ismail Ahmed Garas on Thursday made a working visit to the strategic border town of Dhobley in the Lower Jubba region to inspect health facilities.
The minister held meetings with the local district administration and residents of Dhobley in his fact-finding mission to assess the accessibility of medical services while reviewing the standards of local health facilities serving the area.
The minister who was accompanied by officials from Save the Children made a stop at the general hospital in Dhobley where he laid a foundation stone for a new maternity wing.
