(09-01-24) NAIROBI (Halqabsi News) — The Ambassador of the Federal Government of Somalia to Kenya, Mr Jibril Ibrahim Abdulle, held a meeting with his American counterpart, Ambassador Margaret Whitman, in Nairobi on Tuesday. Their discussions revolved around enhancing the long-established bilateral relationship between Somalia and the United States.
“I am delighted to have engaged in productive talks today with Ambassador Margaret Whitman, the US Ambassador to Kenya, with our dialogue centred on promoting peace and security in the region,” said Ambassador Jibril.
The engagement between the two diplomats was geared towards fostering cooperative efforts to tackle the complex political dynamics in the Horn of Africa, leveraging the diplomatic ties between Somalia and the United States.
