(10-01-24) NAIROBI (Halqabsi News) — The Minister of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change for the South West State of Somalia, Mr Dini Abdinur Mohamed, engaged in a meeting on Tuesday with officials from the Somali Resilience Programme (SomRep) and World Vision Somalia Programme in Nairobi.
The meeting allowed the Minister and the officials to delve into strategies for mitigating the negative impacts of climate change that have significantly affected the South West regions.
The discussions focused on enhancing the collaborative efforts between these organisations and the Ministry. Both SomRep and World Vision (WV) are committed to making notable contributions towards addressing the environmental and climate change challenges facing the regions under the South West State of Somalia.
