(28-02-24) GAROWE (Halqabsi News) — Puntland authorities have apprehended up to 20 Yemeni fishermen for alleged illegal fishing off the Bari coast. Security agencies reported that the fishermen were engaged in unauthorised fishing in the Dhalibaar area, which falls under the jurisdiction of Dhudhub district.
The security agencies further noted that the detainees will be turned over to judicial authorities to answer to allegations of engaging in illegal fishing practices.
