In a heartfelt statement, Khaire, who acquired 100 copies of the poignant narrative, remarked, “This book serves as a beacon of inspiration for individuals with special needs. Haldoor exemplifies that disability is no barrier to expressing one’s innate talent and creativity.” He further urged Mogadishu’s residents to champion Haldoor’s literary journey.
Additionally, Fiqi praised the seamless organization of the launch and disclosed his contribution of 120 copies. Representing Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, he also secured an additional 150 books. The launch not only spotlighted Mohamed Haldoor’s significant contribution to literature but also accentuated Mogadishu’s burgeoning cultural scene and the spirit of community solidarity. Having previously garnered attention in Hargeisa and Garowe, ‘Hadhiwaa’ continues to resonate, delivering a powerful message of resilience and hope throughout Somali regions.
By the end of the evening, the message was clear: in the face of adversity, the community stands united, ready to uplift and empower each of its members. ‘Hadhiwaa’ is not just a book; it is a beacon of hope for people with special needs and a reminder of the indomitable human spirit.
