(03-06-24) KISMAYO (Halqabsi News) – A delegation led by the Federal Minister of Public Works, Abdissalan Abdi Ali (Dhaay), was received in Kismayo on Monday by senior Jubaland administration officials. Minister Dhaay arrived in Kismayo for work-related discussions with the Jubaland administration, particularly the region’s minister of public works.
The delegation was received at Kismayo Airport by officials, including the Minister of Public Works of Jubaland, other ministers and deputy ministers, federal and regional legislators, the Mayor of Kismayo, and other dignitaries.
The federal minister reportedly arrived in Kismayo to inspect significant ongoing projects in the district and to lay the foundation for additional projects planned for the Jubaland interim capital. Several road construction works are currently underway in Kismayo as part of the plans to repair key infrastructures, including roads.
