(17-07-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Chief of the Somali National Army (SNA), Brigadier General Dayah Abdi Abdulle, arrived in Wanile and Dhagahyale areas of Galgaduud region, where a military operation on 15 July resulted in the deaths of over 50 militants.
Brigadier General Abdulle commended the National Army and local fighters for their efforts and encouraged them to continue their pursuit of the remaining militants in areas within Eldheer district of Galgaduud region.
In a statement, the federal government on Tuesday said that the operation was jointly carried out by the SNA, accompanied by local forces and supported by an international partner.
