(27 Aug 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – The Federal Government of Somalia has provided financial assistance to some of the victims of the recent terrorist attack on Lido Beach in early August.
The National Emergency Committee for the Lido Explosion met with the relatives of those who lost their lives in the attack, which took place earlier this month. The committee provided $2,000 to each of the families of the 36 people who died in the attack.
The committee assured the families that they would not be abandoned and that the Somali government would continue to support all victims. The committee has already provided financial assistance to those injured in the attack.
