(07 Oct 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – The Speaker of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nuur (Madoobe), has embarked on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the invitation of his counterpart, according to a press statement from the Speaker’s office.
The delegation accompanying Speaker Madoobe includes the Chairman of the Somalia-UAE Parliamentary Friendship Committee and members of the Somali Parliament representing Somalia in the Arab Parliament.
During his stay in the UAE, Speaker Madoobe is scheduled to hold meetings with senior UAE officials, including the Speaker of the UAE Parliament. The focus of these discussions will be on strengthening bilateral relations between Somalia and the UAE, particularly in the areas of parliamentary cooperation and economic development.
