(26 Oct 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Somalia’s Security Minister, Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail Fartaag, along with the Chiefs of Police and NISA, and their deputies, oversaw security operations in various parts of Mogadishu on Friday night. The officials supervised activities carried out by security agencies across all districts of Mogadishu, receiving updates from officers and commanders on duty.
Minister Fartaag directed the security agencies to intensify their efforts to ensure the capital’s safety, emphasising that such supervision would be maintained regularly to address the recent increase in insecurity in the capital, chiefly attributed to Al-Shabaab.
