(06 Nov 2024) BERLIN (Halqabsi News)— Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud addressed the Germany-Africa Investment Summit, where he outlined Somalia’s investment opportunities and highlighted government efforts toward stability and development.
The President emphasised the crucial role of international cooperation in driving economic growth, job creation, climate resilience, and security, commending the summit’s focus on fostering an investor-friendly environment.
He noted Somalia’s progress in implementing economic reforms and establishing laws to protect investors, with a commitment to strengthening the private sector’s role in economic growth.
Joined by Somalia’s Minister of Planning and Investment, Mohamud Abdirahman Beenebeene, President Mohamud welcomed international investors, underscoring Somalia’s vibrant, entrepreneurial population as a key asset.
