President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Monday hosted Chinese Ambassador Wang Yu at Villa Somalia to discuss bilateral relations and partnership between Somalia and China.
The meeting followed the recent announcement of an elevated Strategic Partnership between the two nations at the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit.
Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in key areas, including security, development, and economic recovery. Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to sovereignty, unity, and mutual prosperity.
