(18 Nov 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — Officials from Somalia’s Immigration and Citizenship Authority have completed an intensive month-long training programme in Egypt. The training, jointly organised by the governments of Egypt and Italy, focused on border management, document verification, and strategies to combat human trafficking. It was attended by immigration officers from 17 African nations.
The Somali Immigration and Citizenship Authority said it is committed to enhancing the expertise and skills of its officers, particularly those working in document verification units critical to delivering the agency’s services.
