The Jubaland Darawish Forces, in collaboration with the Danab Commandos, have carried out security operations, taking out senior militants. The joint forces conducted the operation in the Lagta Anole area.
The operations aimed to root out extremist hideouts that had been used as staging grounds for orchestrating attacks undermining the security of Jubaland’s territories.
Acting on a tip-off, the forces tracked the militant group’s movements and obtained critical intelligence about a gathering point where militants were mobilising. The mission dealt a blow to their operational capabilities, reaffirming the commitment of Somali security forces to maintaining peace and security in the region.
