(29 Mar 2025) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Somali National Army (SNA) troops have officially regained control of the strategic villages of Sabiib and Anole in Lower Shabelle on Saturday, after flushing out Al-Shabaab militants in a swift operation.
Military commanders confirmed to Halqabsi News that government forces have now fully deployed across both areas, expanding their control and pushing back the militants.
The recapture comes amid intensified military pressure on Al-Shabaab, with the group suffering significant losses at the hands of Somali troops and local Macawiisley fighters in recent weeks.
