Jubaland President Ahmed Mohamed Islam ‘Ahmed Madobe’ on Monday visited the National Emergency Forces of the Jubaland Intelligence and Security Agency and the Danab Commandos to commend their recent battlefield gains.
The forces have carried out successful operations across several parts of the Lower Juba region in recent days, inflicting heavy losses on Al-Shabaab militants and dismantling bases that threatened regional security.
President Islam lauded the troops for their bravery, sacrifice, and commitment to national defence. He said the victories have lifted the spirits of Jubaland residents and the Somali public, stressing the importance of maintaining pressure until the militants are completely defeated.
