Puntland’s Bari Regional Police Command has confirmed the arrest of Mohamud Ahmed Warsame, accused of murdering an Ethiopian national working on a farm in the Iira-dhame area of Armo District.
The incident took place on June 10, 2025, when the suspect allegedly assaulted the victim, causing fatal injuries, before fleeing the scene. Police later apprehended the suspect, who is now in custody as investigations continue to gather additional evidence. Authorities said the case will be fast-tracked to court to ensure justice is served.
The police condemned the killing and urged the public to work closely with security agencies by reporting any criminal activity.
