(10-04-23) MOGADISHU – Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre of the Federal Government of Somalia on Monday hosted the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, FEI Shengchao, at his office in a bid to fortify inter-generational relations between the two countries. During the meeting, the two officials engaged in fruitful discussions on matters concerning politics, cooperation, security, economic development, and humanitarian issues.
Prime Minister Hamse expressed his gratitude to the Chinese government for its unwavering support of both the Somali government and its people. He acknowledged the contributions China has made in Somalia, emphasizing the significance of a strong bilateral relationship between the two nations.
