(21-04-23) GALKAYO – Security forces from Puntland and Galmudug successfully collaborated in a joint operation to arrest a terrorist network that was preparing explosives and plotting murders in Galkayo City. The arrest comes on the heels of an explosion that occurred earlier this week on the Galmudug side of the city.
The suspect apprehended in connection with the explosion was confirmed to be part of a larger network by security officials. Following the arrest, the joint forces conducted a raid on a house in northern Galkayo, where they arrested additional members of the terrorist network.
