(24/07/23) Mogadishu – Minister of Finance Bihi Iman briefed members of the House of Representatives on Monday about the Auditor General Bill, which is currently before the legislature.
The minister said that the bill would make significant changes to the country’s financial system by increasing the efficiency of government finances. He also answered questions from parliamentarians about the bill.
The meeting on the Auditor General Bill is ongoing, and the parliament is expected to give the bill its first reading. After the discussion, they will make a decision on whether to pass the bill.
