(10-01-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — The Chief of the Somali National Army Infantry, General Dayah Abdi Abdulle, has extended his gratitude to the local clans in Galmudug for their steadfast support of the SNA and local forces engaged in a fierce, sustained military offensive against Al-Shabaab in Galgaduud and southern parts of Mudug region.
General Abdulle praised the local clans for their persistent support of the army, applauding their determination to stand against the group. He noted the critical goal of liberating areas under the control of Al-Shabaab, aiming to reinstate normalcy and government authority in those regions.
His acknowledgement comes as the SNA continues to receive contributions from local clans amidst an escalated military campaign against Al-Shabaab in the southern parts of the Mudug region.
