(23-01-24) GAROWE (Halqabsi News) — Hirshabelle leader Ali Gudlawe Hussein and accompanying delegation received a warm welcome in Garowe, the administrative capital of Puntland, on Tuesday. Mr Gudlawe is among the dignitaries invited to the inauguration ceremony of Puntland’s re-elected President, Deni. The event is scheduled to be held in Garowe this coming Thursday.
Upon his arrival, President Hussein was received at Garowe’s General Mohamed Abshir Airport by President Said Abdullahi Deni, along with outgoing ministers and incumbent MPs.
President Gudlawe took the opportunity to congratulate President Deni, who secured re-election as the President of the Puntland State Government on 8 January. Meanwhile, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is also expected to grace the inauguration event of President Deni.
