(21-02-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — On Tuesday, Somali security forces apprehended two Al-Shabaab suspects in Lower Shabelle’s Marka district.
According to SNA officials, the suspects, Ibrahim Ali Sulaiman and Idris Abdi Shabellow, were apprehended as they attempted to sneak into town.
The security agencies noted that Al-Shabaab suspects sneak into towns intending to orchestrate acts of insecurity. In recent years, there has been a rise in the number of arrests of Al-Shabaab suspects across different regions, indicating heightened security forces’ alertness in reducing Al-Shabaab’s threat to the people.
