(05-03-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — In a meeting held on Tuesday in Mogadishu, the United Nations Special Representative to Somalia, Ms Catriona Laing, met with Norway’s Special Representative for Peace and Reconciliation in Somalia, Ms Heidi Elburgi Johansen.
According to the UN, the focus of the discussion was on the international community’s support for Somalia’s peace, state-building, and reconciliation efforts.
The meeting underlines the ongoing commitment of the international community to support Somalia in its path towards achieving lasting peace and stability.
