(20 March 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — Speaker of the House of the People, Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur ‘Madobe’, chaired the 27th joint session of the Federal Parliament of Somalia’s two chambers on Tuesday. Deliberations on the provisional constitution’s fourth chapter amendments continued, with Tuesday’s discussions focusing on the framework for political parties and electoral management.
Concluding the session, Speaker Madobe emphasised the necessity of member attendance in the next meeting on Wednesday to finalise the ongoing reviews on Chapter 4 of the provisional constitution.
